So I ventured to the cinema on Friday to watch Prometheus (obviously) and to see if Michael Fassbender's awful blonde hair was worth it. And trust me, it was, the film has gotten a lot of criticism from critics and fans alike but every single review I have read has had the same positive comment, Michael's portrayal of futuristic android David. I went to see the film simply because my favourite actor is in it and having seen every single one of his films, I realised that I had to see this one. Sci - Fi isn't really a genre I'm interested in (with the exception of Star Wars and Doctor Who) so I was expecting to be bored by Prometheus but I was pleasantly surprised and whilst I'm aware that it wasn't what die hard fans were hoping for I found it enjoyable and, as always, 'Fassy' gave an indisputably incredible performance that completely stole the show. The film is worth seeing for his performance alone.
I also bought this month's Glamour magazine which featured a short but lovely article entitled "Five reasons we love the Fass" which I obviously enjoyed, this month was also the issue where Glamour name their 'women of the year' and as always they have one male award which is unsurprisingly 'man of the year' an award I thought would go to Fassbender due to his sudden invasion of the movie world but no, instead the award went to Tom Hiddleston which I was actually very happy about as Hiddleston is also one of my favourite actors and comes a very close second in my affections :P
